A Time of Rebirth
All Nonprofit Organizations go through multiple stages of organizational development as they work their way from incubation to sustainability and even rebirth. Mission Solano has recently entered into a stage of rebirth, at least governance wise. The board is going through reorganization in an attempt to realign with the vision of the founder and director, Ron Marlette. New board members are being chosen and new officers are being selected. The new governance structure has been fully functional since May 1, 2016.
Guiding Ron and the staff through this stage will be Larry Arce, a successful veteran of rescue mission ministry. Also serving on the board will be Carlos Baldovino, CEO of The Mission of Kern County in Bakersfield, California. Carlos also serves as the president of the Pacific District of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, North America’s oldest and largest network of independent, faith-based crisis shelters and addiction recovery centers, and founding board member and CPA John Eckle, of Vacaville.
Missions Solano will remain fully functional during this time of rebirth, continuing to offer full services to hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted people in need of help and hope.
Mission Solano is grateful to recent board members who have volunteered their time to oversee the ministry. Their contributions have been greatly appreciated.
We are thankful and ask you, our supporters, and partners to continue to pray and support the ministry as we provide the compassion and care to all those who come to us in need of hope for a brighter tomorrow. They need us, and we need you!
